Street Legal are an exciting five-piece new wave collective hailing from Tarntanya/Adelaide, South Australia. Sharing a love of the post disco and punk ethos refashioned in the early oughts, the band have been turning heads with their socially conscious tunes and their no-holds-barred approach to music making.
The band were highlighted by internet music blogger Anthony Fantano's 'The Needle Drop' with their most recent film clip 'Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow' receiving nearly 110k views on Twitter. The band have also received strong rotation on 4ZZZ, 2SER and FBi Radio. Street Legal have most recently supported The Living End, Magic Dirt and Katy Steele at the Beer & BBQ Fest in July.
They have also supported Horror My Friend and Sydney’s Egoism as well as having played Adelaide Festival Centre for Plazapalooza, Woolly Mammoth Festival and the Tour Down Under Emerging South Australian Artists Showcase.
